What “Thai Constellation tissue culture” actually means
Monstera deliciosa is the accepted botanical species name. Kew treats the older name Monstera borsigiana as a synonym, so “borsigiana” should not be used as proof that a listing represents a separate species. “Thai Constellation” identifies the cultivated variegated plant people are comparing; “tissue culture” identifies the propagation route.
In micropropagation, selected plant material is multiplied under sterile in-vitro conditions. Commercial programs aim to reproduce a chosen type efficiently, but clonal propagation is not the same as a guarantee that every young plant will look identical forever. The scientific literature documents tissue-culture-induced genetic and epigenetic variation, often called somaclonal variation. Risk depends on the genotype, starting tissue, regeneration pathway, growth regulators and subculture history—not on the words “tissue culture” alone.

A juvenile photo is evidence of the current plant, not a contract for its mature canopy. Environment also changes phenotype: light, temperature, root health and leaf age affect size, color and growth rate even when genotype remains unchanged. Compare like with like—a sealed plantlet with other sealed plantlets, or an acclimatized liner with plants at the same stage.

The cheapest-looking format is not always the lowest total cost. Your equipment, time and experience determine how much of the Stage-IV transition you can manage.
